Madhyamik Result 2024 : WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2024: West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has confirmed that the WB Madhyamik Result 2024 was declared on May 2, 2024 at 9 am via press conference. WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2024 released at 9:45 am on official website wbresults.nic.in, wbbse.org. Students can check their West Bengal Result 2024 by using roll number and date of birth. WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2024 Highlights
- WBBSE has announced Madhyamik Result 2024 through press conference. The board has informed that this year, more female students appeared for the WBBSE exam 2024 as compared to male candidates. The board has also announced the overall passing percentage, toppers and other statistics. Students should note that the Madhyamik Result link 2024 will be active till 9:45 am.
- In the recent examination session, a total of 923,636 candidates, both internal and external, had enrolled for the examination. Of these, 912,598 candidates appeared for the examination, resulting in a commendable performance. Of those who took the exam, 403,900 were men, while the number of female candidates was more than 5 lakh. This shows 25.95% higher female participation than their male counterparts, indicating a positive trend towards gender inclusivity in education.

- Of the 9,23,636 enrolled students including external students, as many as 9,12,598 appeared.

The overall pass percentage this year is 86.31 per cent. Of the total of 9,12,598 students appeared for the exams which include 4,03,900 boys and 5,08,698 girls, as many as 7,64,252 students passed
- The highest pass percent is from Kalimpong district 96.26 per cent.
- Top performing districts
The top-performing districts in the WBBSE Madhyamik Exam 2024 showcased impressive pass rates, with Kalimpong leading the list at 96.26%, followed closely by East Medinipur at 95.41%. Kolkata and West Medinipur also demonstrated strong performances, with pass rates of 91.62% and 91.41% respectively.
- The pass percentage this year has improved. Last year, it was 86.15 per cent.
