What is OTA in CDS? : OTA stands for Officers Training Academy, it is a training institute of Indian Army which trains officers joining Short Service Commission through CDS examination. CDS exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) to recruit candidates into the Indian Armed Forces. Through CDS, men are eligible to join the Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy. Whereas, women are only eligible for Officers Training Academy.

What is OTA in CDS? : For the Admission in OTA, a candidate have to give the CDS exam. It is conducted twice a year usually in the months of February and September.Â
