Remount Veterinary Corps is hiring candidates who meet the eligibility conditions for Short Service Commission in Remount Veterinary Corps of Indian Army. The last date to apply for RVC (Remount Veterinary Corps) is 3 June 2024. Both males and females in the age group of 21-32 years can apply for Indian Army RVC.

Essential Educational Qualification
Army Remount Veterinary Corps Bharti 2024 : Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry/ Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science or its equivalent foreign degree from any recognized Indian University. Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with internship. Candidates who do not have a degree with internship need not apply.
Who will be entitled to Permanent Commission?
- BVSc/ BVSc & AH degree graduates will be considered for permanent Commission only if they are below 30 years in age.
- MVSc and Doctorate Degree holders will be considered for Permanent Commission after providing Age relaxation to them.
Method of Selection
There will be three stages in the selection process of RVC
1- Initial Screening- In the Initial Screening process, Document Verification of all the original documents will take place.
2- SSB Interview- Candidates have to undergo a 5 Day Interview process. It is important to get Recommended from SSB Interview.
3- Merit Out- Merit list will be make from recommended candidates.
Candidates qualifying the all three stages need to undergo a Medical Examination.
Training and Commission
After completing of Training, the candidates will be commissioned on the Rank of Captain. Selected Candidates will be trained at Remount Veterinary Corps centre and college, Meerut Cantt.
Anti date Seniority-
Candidates holding a Masters in the Veterinary Science and Holding a doctorate will be given the seniority of 12 month/ 24 months respectively.
Promotion
Candidates after commissioning in the armed forces can be promoted up to the rank of Lt. Col while in Short Service Commission and up to the rank of Colonel if granted Permanent Commission
Tenure
Officers commissioned will serve the Indian Army for Five years of time period. The period of five years may be further extended by two spells of five years four years.

- The Candidates have to apply Offline for Remount Veterinary Corps.
- The application should be on Plain Paper (21cm * 36 cm) duly typed as per the given format in advertisement.
- The envelope containing the application should be Superscribed in Red Ink indicating early Application for Short Service Commission in RVC.
- Application should be posted by ordinary, registered or speed post to the the address
