SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern 

  1. This is the first round of the SBI PO Exam.
  2. This will have 3 sections and each section will have to be completed in 20 Minutes.
  3. The total marks of the SBI PO Prelims Exam are 100 Marks while the duration of the exam is 1 Hour.
  4. One (1) mark is awarded for every correct answer.
  5. There will be a penalty of 0.25 Marks for every incorrect answer marked by the candidate.
  6. All the questions will be set bilingually i.e. in English and Hindi, except the English Language.

The Descriptive Test has a duration of 30 minutes with a score of 50 marks. This test is conducted to test the writing skills of candidates via Letter Writing & Essay Writing.

Highlights of the SBI PO Mains Exam

The following points are the highlights of the SBI PO Mains Exam:

  1. All the questions will be objective.
  2. This main paper will have four sections for a total of 200 marks.
  3. The duration of the SBI PO Mains Exam will be 3 hours.
  4. The objective test will have separate timing for every section.
  5. There will be no sectional cut-off. There will be only an overall cut-off.
  6. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect Multiple Choice Question.
  7. The Descriptive Paper of 50 marks is compulsory to attempt.
