Supplementary Exam CBSE 2023: The CBSE Compartment Exam 2023 will be administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education in July 2023. The compartment or supplemental exam for classes 10, 12, or both will take place in July. The Board will publish the datesheet, which candidates can access on the CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

The compartment exam and improvement exam have been renamed as Supplementary Exam by CBSE. Since the word failed has been replaced with Essential Repeat, CBSE is now utilising some soft alternates as recommended in NEP-2020. In a similar vein, CBSE will now refer to it as a supplementary exam.

Supplementary Exam CBSE 2023 Latest Update

Results for the CBSE were released on May 12, 2023. The pass rate for Class 10 is 93.12%, and for Class 12, it is 87.33%. Girls outperformed boys in both Class 10 and Class 12 in academic performance. For Class 10, the overall pass rate for girls is 94.25 percent, compared to 92.72 percent for boys. The overall percentage of female candidates who passed Class 12 was 90.68. which is greater than the boys’ 84.67%.

CBSE Improvement Exam 2023: Class 10th & 12th

Students in Class 10 will have the opportunity to perform better in two subjects during the supplementary exam this year. The Class 12 students will be given the opportunity to perform better on one subject during the supplemental exam. The 2023 main exam syllabus will be used for the supplementary exam.

CBSE 10th Class Compartment Exam 2023

Candidates who apply under the COMPARTMENT category are not eligible to simultaneously apply to appear in additional subjects.
Students who fall into the COMPARTMENT category between March 2023 and July 2023 are only permitted to apply for that subject.
Such a candidate, who has been placed in a compartment for two subjects, may choose to retake the March 2023 Board Examination in five, six, or seven of those subjects. When submitting an online application, such a
candidate should choose the category FAILURE.
Candidates who apply under the COMPARTMENT category are not eligible to simultaneously apply to appear in additional subjects.

CBSE Class 12th Compartment Exam 2023

Candidates applying under the COMPARTMENT category are not permitted to simultaneously apply to appear in additional subjects.
Students whose results were announced as COMPARTMENT 2023 and July 2013 are only allowed to apply in the subject for which they received their COMPARTMENT designation.
Candidates who received a Compartment in one subject may also submit an application to retake the March 2023 Board Examination in 5 or 6 additional subjects.
Such applicants should choose FAILURE as their category when submitting an online application.
Students who apply under the COMPARTMENT category are not permitted to apply jointly to appear in additional subjects.

Supplementary Exam CBSE 2023 Application Form
