Vacancy Trend for AFCAT 2 2024 : The notification released by the Indian Air Force for AFCAT 2 2024 has announced a total of 304 vacancies that will be filled through the AFCAT exam this year. Candidates interested in joining Indian Air Force should be aware of the number of vacancies. Air Force Common Admission Test, commonly known as AFCAT, is a competitive examination conducted by the IAF twice a year to recruit men and women into various branches of the IAF. A total of 100 questions are asked in AFCAT carrying 3 marks for each answer. Total marks of AFCAT is 300 marks.
What is AFCAT?
Vacancy Trend for AFCAT 2 2024 : Air Force Common Admission Test, commonly known as AFCAT, is a competitive examination conducted by the IAF twice a year to recruit men and women into various branches of the IAF. In this, a total of 100 questions are asked giving 3 marks for each answer. This is a two stage examination. First stage is written examination, qualified candidates will be called for second stage AFSB Interview. In this article, candidates will know about gender wise and branch wise vacancy for AFCAT exam.
AFCAT 2 2024 Important dates
AFCAT 2 2024 is expected to be conducted by the end of August or in the Starting of September. Both Men and Women aged between 20-26 years, holding a bachelors degree can apply for AFCAT 2 2024 starting from 30th May 2024 till 28th June 2024.

What is AFCAT Eligibility Criteria?
Vacancy Trend for AFCAT 2 2024 : The age limit and essential educational qualification depends on branch to branch. Both men and women can apply for any of the branches. For Flying branch, the maximum age limit is 24 years old. lets know about other branches age limit and other imp details now.

- Candidate aged between 20-24
- Must have Maths and Physics at 12th level
For Ground Duty Technical Branches
- Candidate aged between 20- 26 are eligible
- Graduation in any of the Engineering field is compulsory.
For Ground Duty Non- Technical Branches
- Candidates aged between 20-26 are eligible
- Graduation in any discipline.
